It was learnt that the PCB chairman asked Shoaib Akhtar about an incident which took place in Lahore the other day in which the cricketer misbehaved with a traffic constable after violating traffic rules. Later, Shoaib Akhtar also used his influence and got that traffic constable suspended. It has also been learnt that PCB chairman took the incident seriously and urged Shoaib Akhtar to maintain discipline on and off the ground.

Another issue discussed was that of Shoiab's fitness. He confirmed his fitness and offered to play for Pakistan.
