as I was very disappointed about Pakistan's performance........well
I hope they as a team can improve and well done to england! |

I just wanted to ask
how this can be right! How is it that Ajay Jadeja is banned for 5
years for having connections with bookies where as Herschelle Gibbs
is banned for 1 year for taking a bung! Can anyone explain this to
me? Their needs to be standards for each punishment. |

I am completely
appalled by the reaction and handling of the Alec Stewart affair by
Lord McLaurin....if I remember rightly it was only a few weeks ago
that he was saying that Wasim and co. should be banned, yet he is
supporting Stewart.
WHY I ask myself? his excuse: "Alec has been supportive in our
enquiries" what does he think that Wasim and co. declined from
helping in the match fixing enquiry.
WHAT A HYPOCRITE THIS INDIVIDUAL IS.....HE DOES NOT DESERVE TO HAVE
SUCH A SENIOR ROLE WITHIN ENGLISH CRICKET. |

Sunday

I think that Pakistan
have been playing pretty well these days and wish them all the luck
against England and hope they will win! |

So Alec is under
suspicion of taking money from a bookmaker. Will Lord Maclaurin send
him home? NO! What a hypocrite. The man that said all Pakistan
players under suspicion should be banned, yet when it is his own
player he stands by him. Innocent until proven guilty.. at least
that is how it should be.. until the Lord suggested otherwise! By
making the comments he did he should now BAN Alec Stewart but i
doubt that will ever happen. |

9th October |
I think that Pakistan
will win the ICC cup. With 3 genuine all rounders in Wasim Akram,
Abdur Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood they have great depth in the batting
plus 5 bowlers. The batting looks strong with young Imran
Nazir joining Saeed Anwar at the top of the order. I think
that this cup already has our name written on it ....anyone
agree? |

I can't believe why everyone believes
Mark Waugh and Shane Warne when they say they took money for pitch
and weather information. I would just like to make a few points on
this issue. 1) Why would someone pay for pitch information? what relevance
does it have to the outcome of a game, when you don't even know who
has won the toss in the match! 2) Why would anyone pay them for
weather information. Does Shane Warne have a part-time job as a
weather man that we don't know about? How where these two players
able to predict the weather? It must have been some stupid bookie to
pay them for this information as personally I think the TV or
Internet is a better source to get the weather information.
Personally, I think the case should be re-opened as it does not make
sense unless bookies like to waste their money...which I know they
don't! Does anyone agree with me that the two are getting of
lightly? |
